Geotechnical/Geo Environmental
We have been involved in environmental and land consultancy issues for over 14 years and because of our involvement in sustainability issues and the environment in general, Aston Croft Chartered Surveyors provide Geotechnical/Geo Environmental consultancy services for all aspects of ground works. We apply our expertise to all types of structures and arrange the deployment of a variety of methods for ground improvement, for example, the installation of vertical in-ground barriers, soil stabilisation, piling, and foundation design.
Remediation
The remediation of contaminated land and water is widely acknowledged as a major challenge for today’s society. We are able to arrange and manage a remediation service to clients who have land that is affected by contamination. This contamination can be solid or liquid, organic or inorganic. We have experience in site remediation from traditional ‘dig and dump’ to innovative groundwater treatments and bio-remediation. By combining our experience together with specialist contractors’ remediation techniques, we can save our clients substantial financial outlay and time on projects.
Validation
By the use of on-site testing and quick turnaround testing at laboratories it is possible to accelerate the remediation process. This means that plant, staff and other resources do not stand still and it also allows faster completion of the project. This in turn allows the Client to progress the project with the minimum of delay and so achieve the end result with reduced costs and increased certainty.
